Marketing Properties for Sale or Rent in Time of Crisis
May 06, 2020

Hi Everyone,

Marketing Properties for Sale or Rent in Time of Crisis

All real estate experts agree that the coronavirus outbreak has a negative impact on the real estate industry, no doubt. But life goes on, and real estate transactions happen anyway - although the numbers are down.

If you still want or need to sell or rent out a property, you have to intensify and extend your marketing - to reach as many potential buyers or renters as possible and attract all the prospects to your property instead of somebody else's.

First, you may want to pay more attention to all possible uses of your property for sale and describe them in your offer. Let's say a family home may be positioned also as a rental, a condo in a university city as a suitable accommodation for students, etc.

Of course, the exact marketing venues will depend on your property location, bylaws of the building or city and other circumstances. But for sure, there are new perspectives for each property, and you owe it to yourself to develop them and clearly show to the world!

Second, you may want to think of more available markets for your property for sale or rent - internationally as well. Yes, the country borders are locked down nowadays, but it doesn't really matter for some foreign investors (Russian real estate investors including) who may purchase a property without viewing - just making their decision based on the property financial info.

Nobody can really predict the future, there might be ups or downs in different markets after the outbreak restrictions and travel bans are lifted… Staying home right now is a great time to facelift your real estate marketing (to Russian buyers of international properties including)!

To your best business success,

Sincerely,
