At INFOREAL, the real estate exhibit of foreign properties in St. Petersburg, Russia, two marketing companies, Alfa Estate and New Look, conducted a research on preferences of Russian potential buyers of real estate abroad.

There were 4,000 visitors at the show. 2.5% of them had been polled at random.

Countries: The first three most attractive countries for Russian buyers appeared to be Spain, Bulgaria and Finland. Germany was almost on par with Finland.

Prices: 46% of the potential Russian buyers say they are interested in properties abroad priced under 100,000 Euros. 32% are ready to buy properties in the range of 100,000 to 300,000 Euros. 22% are interested in very expensive properties.

The INFOREAL show organizer, real estate portal Prian, conducted its own research at the show. The results are in full compliance with the previously described.

70,2% of respondents named the major goal of the foreign real estate purchase as for personal use (vacationing, second home, getting the right to live in the country where applicable, etc.).
