Russian Real Estate Shows Move Online
October 01, 2020

Hi Everyone,

Russian Real Estate Shows Move Online

Now the usual fall season of international real estate shows in Russia has started, and I have tried to observe how this business is doing during the coronavirus pandemic. Probably dead? Travel restrictions, crowds forbidden, physical distancing, slowdown of real estate business all over, etc.?

As an example, let's look at Moscow real estate shows:

-Some are cancelled

-Some are re-scheduled for a future date (hoping for the better)

-But some are well and alive - online! And this is a good news as real estate shows are a powerful marketing tool for international properties sellers!

Ok, let's see what moving online means for all parties involved:

-For organizers it's a new way of doing business with all the difficulties to overcome and additional expenses on one hand (building an online platform) with some savings (renting a huge show-room) on the other hand

-For participants like yourself it's an easy and rather inexpensive way to show your properties and services to Russian buyers and connect with potential co-operating real estate professionals and buyers in Russia (you don't need to pay for flights, hotels, transfers, meals, etc. and you just sit comfortably at your computer instead of traveling to a foreign country)

-For the Russian buyers (visitors of the virtual show) it's free of course, they can choose properties and realtors like yourself from participating in the real estate show companies from many countries in the world and talk to you in real time (the virtual platform has many features of a real life show).

Thus, two questions with answers:

-Why the virtual real estate shows hadn’t existed in the past? There was no need so far - the pandemic’s fault.

-Will the virtual real estate shows exist in the future? My opinion is yes, even when things return to normal they would become an online addition to the real life show.

To your best business success,

Sincerely,
