Selling to Russians News: Ukrainians buy more international properties
September 02, 2014

Hi Everyone,

Ukrainians buy more international properties

A Ukrainian business edition "Delovaya Stolitsa" has published an article on recent stats of Ukrainian buyers of international properties. Here are the major points for you in English:

- Lately Ukrainians have been buying more real estate in other countries.

- While just a year ago they usually bought vacation properties, in the recent unstable situation in Ukraine people with some money want to preserve their funds and 65% buy international properties with such a goal in mind.

- 60% of Ukrainian buyers are from Kiev, the capital; the big cities of Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa are following.

- Bulgaria is in the highest demand among Ukrainian buyers as real estate is rather cheap over there.

- The second country by popularity for Ukrainians is Turkey.

- Greece is the number 3 country where Ukrainians buy properties often.

- Spain is also popular among Ukrainian buyers.

- The researchers predict some fast growing demand for Montenegro among Ukrainian buyers who'd prefer to escape the turmoil of their own country, as there is a word that Montenegro is changing the law and foreigners who own a property in this country will be allowed to live permanently over there.

So, you see that Ukraine is a new growing buyers' market for inexpensive international properties in the range of approximately under 100,000 Euros.

P.S. The population of Ukraine is 40,000,000+ and everybody knows Russian as well as Ukrainian (these are very closely-related languages).

To your best business success,

Sincerely,
